Mr. Lowell Wayne “Bum” Bumgarner, 49, of Clay City, IL, formerly of Odin, IL, died at 3:02 p.m. on Tuesday, December 23, 2014, in Pittsfield, IL. “Bum” was born on July 22, 1965, in Salem, IL. He worked as a foreman for several years at Cleary Building Corporation, where he will be truly missed. “Bum” enjoyed hunting for arrowheads and serving as the “Grill Master” of his family. Above all, he loved spending time with his family.
Lowell is survived by his father, Charles Venters of Odin, IL, Ashley Weller of Clay City, IL, daughters, Livey Bumgarner, Lacey Weller, and Lexi Duncan all of Clay City, IL, brothers, Mike Venters and wife Terrie of Odin, IL, Jimmy Venters of Odin, IL, and Chris Venters and wife Terra, of Odin, IL, granddaughter, Vylet Esparza of Clay City, IL niece, Cheyenne Venters of Odin, IL, and nephews, Bradley Venters of Odin, IL, and James Venters of Odin, IL. “Bum” was preceded in death by his mother, Dorothy Bumgarner and grandparents.
A memorial visitation will be from 2 – 4 p.m. on Sunday, December 28, 2014, at Kohn Funeral Home in Flora, IL.
