Bonnie Martin, 75, of Flora, Illinois, passed away at 10:14 a.m., Thursday, January 11, 2018, at Good Samaritan Hospital in Vincennes, Indiana. Bonnie was born on January 9, 1943, in Clay County, Illinois, to Lester and Patience “June” (Montgomery) Martin. Bonnie was a collector of many things. She enjoyed baking and making candy. She loved her dog, Blossom, and spending time with her grandchildren.
Bonnie is survived by her children, Kathy Johnson and husband Bob of Flora, IL, Robert Neil Nease of Flora, IL, son-in-law, Tom Taylor of Olney, IL; grandchildren, Heather Freeman and husband Matt of Flora, IL, Holly Cammon and husband Ryan of Flora, IL, Haley Coble and husband Jhan of Flora, IL, Hillary Johnson and fiancé Dave Wallace of St. Louis, MO, Tommy Taylor and wife Cora of Olney, IL, Tara Chapman and husband Craig of Tennessee, Matt Taylor and Samantha of Tennessee, and Tabitha Carlyle of Olney, IL; sisters, Marty Lonsdale and husband Jim of Arizona, Maryann Crouse and husband Pete of Tennessee; brother, Tony Martin and wife Patti of Quincy, IL, and 22 great-grandchildren, and 1 great-great-grandchild. She was preceded in death by her parents, 1daughter, Kimberly Taylor, 1 infant brother, and 1 sister, Peggy Taylor.
A memorial service will be at 1 p.m., Friday, January 19, 2018, at Kohn Funeral Home in Flora, IL. Visitation will be from 12 – 1 p.m., Friday, January 19, 2018, at the funeral home.
