We didn't know Willis for very long and only met him a few times. But we always appreciated his wit and his caring nature. And we know that he raised a wonderful daughter that we are privileged to have as our daughter-in-law. He was very proud of his grandchildren and they loved to be with him. My husband & I attended Christ's Church for many years until 2009 when we moved out of town. I will always remember Willis serving in the kitchen of Christ's Church. He was preparing communion or cleaning something! He took care of the church and the people. What a servant's heart!. Just seeing Willis joyfully serving lifted ones spirit. We rejoice - for Willis will indeed have a great reward in Heaven but he will be greatly missed here.

Dear Ruth, Jan and Family -

We have such great memories of Willis. He and Ruth were in our first Life Group. He made a "sponge" cake for my birthday one year. It really was a piece of sponge with frosting on it! That thing just could not be cut 😉. We had a lot of fun with that group. He was always positive, encouraging and helpful. He always had a smile and a kind word. He will be deeply missed. Just hold onto those precious memories. Through the hope we have in Jesus, Willis has gained his eternal reward in Heaven. We love you.
