Paul T. Manahan

Paul T Manahan of Crossville, TN passed away on Saturday, April 25th, 2015.  Paul was born on January 15, 1935 in Hartford, Illinois, the son of Hugh and Erma Manahan.  He graduated from East Alton-Wood River High school and attended the University of Illinois, studying civil engineering.

After working at several firms in central Illinois, Paul began a career at McClure Engineering Associates, eventually becoming the senior managing partner of the firm which has six offices in Illinois and Wisconsin.  When he retired from that firm he moved to Crossville, TN and enjoyed golfing and selling real-estate part time.

A long time Christ follower, Paul was most recently a member of Central Baptist Church in Crossville.  He especially enjoyed singing hymns.  He was also active at Cumberland Ridge in Crossville where he lived until recently.

Paul is survived by his three children: Stephen Manahan of Atascadero, California, Jean Phillips of Santa Monica, California and Carol Manahan of Somerville, Massachusetts.  He is also survived by his 4 grandchildren and one sister, Norma Vineyard of Geneseo, IL. 

A memorial service is planned for 10:00 am on August 1st at New Zion Baptist Church near Rinard, IL.  He will be buried in Russell Cemetery near his parents, grandparents, great grandparents and great-great grandparents.   Online condolences may be expressed at www.kohnfuneralhome.com.
