Lathesha LaRea Miller

Mrs. Lathesha LaRea Miller, 44, of Flora, Illinois, died at 6:15 a.m., Friday, May 29, 2015, at her home.  Lathesha was born on April 7, 1971, in Effingham, Illinois, to C.E. “Bud” and Juanita (Limes) Mulvaney.  On September 6, 2014, Lathesha married Doyle Miller in Flora, Illinois.  She chose her career in nursing and became an RN.  Lathesha worked for Addus Healthcare LHC until her health no longer permitted.  Her faith was very important in her life, and she and her family attended Oak Street Baptist Church in Flora.  Most of all, Lathesha was a loving mother, Nana, and wife. 

Lathesha is survived by her husband, Doyle Miller of Flora, 10 children, William “Billy” Shelby and wife Emalee of Flora, IL, Christopher Shelby and wife Kristina of Fort Bragg, NC, Brandon Olden of Flora, IL, Kristan Olden of Xenia, IL, Alyssa Donoho of Flora, IL, Peyton Phillips of Flora, IL, Ryan Phillips of Flora, IL, Sarah Followell and husband David of Altamont, IL, Kristle Black and husband Lorenz of Springfield, IL, and Daniel Miller of Baclif, TX, 11 grandchildren, Andrew, Colton, Xavier, Hunter, Noah, Rachael, Keyara, Alexie, Zoey, Quentin, and Keagan, and 2 brothers, Tulsa Mulvaney and wife Peggy of Rapid City, SD, and Hank Edwards of Poseyville, IN.  Lathesha was preceded in death by her parents. 

A memorial service will be at 6 p.m., Wednesday, June 3, 2015, at Oak Street Baptist Church in Flora, Illinois.  Friends may call from 4 until time of the service on Wednesday, June 3, at the church.  Inurnment will take place at a later date at Elder Cemetery in Kinmundy, IL.  Expressions of sympathy should take the form of donations to the Clay County Cancer Support Group and may be received at the church or Kohn Funeral Home.  Online condolences may be expressed at www.kohnfuneralhome.com.
