Mrs. Joan Ann (Daughenbaugh) Baldridge, 73, of Littleton, Colorado, formerly of Flora, Illinois, died at 7:23 p.m., Sunday, June 11, 2017, at Carle Hospital in Urbana, Illinois. Joan was born in Rinard, Illinois, on September 9, 1943, to Jubal Cecil and Lola Novella (Miller) Daughenbaugh. On December 12, 1980, she married Audy Baldridge in Flora, IL. She worked in Food Management and for several years was manager of the Wall St. Deli. She later worked for 17 years at Wal-Mart in Littleton, CO. She loved country music and was voted top newcomer country artist by the Colorado Country Music Hall of Fame. Joan had a passion for horses and horseback riding.
Joan is survived by her husband, Audy Baldridge of Littleton, CO, son, Anthony Moats and special friend Debbie Yates, of Flora, IL, daughter, Lesley Moats of Littleton, CO, stepson, Ben Baldridge and wife Linda of Forsyth, MO, stepdaughter, Phyllis Martin and husband Charlie of Humble, TX, grandchildren, Savanna (Zack) Corya of Columbus, OH, Kayla Moats of Columbus, OH, and Anthony Samuel Moats of Flora, IL, step-grandchildren, Marc (Jivonna) Baldridge, Matthew (Kristian) Baldridge, Ayme (Court) Hutchinson, Andrew (Tarah) Baldridge, Heidi (Jimmy) Mullins, Holly (Jeremy) Church, Amanda Martin, and Charles “Chuck” (Ashley) Martin, 2 great-grandchildren, 13 step-great grandchildren, brothers, Gene Daughenbaugh and wife Beverly of Danville, IL, Ray Daughenbaugh of Kankakee, IL, and Gary Daughenbaugh of Forsyth, MO, and 1 sister, Kay Perry of Flora, IL. Joan was preceded in death by her parents, 3 brothers, and 1 sister.
Funeral services will be Thursday, June 15, 2017, at 1:00p.m., at Kohn Funeral Home, in Flora, Illinois. Visitation will be Thursday, June 15, 2017, from 11:00 to time of the service, at the funeral home.
