Frank Everett Goodman, Jr.

Mr. Frank Everett Goodman, Jr., 81, of Flora, Illinois, passed away at 3 p.m., Friday, December 25, 2015, at the Burge House in Flora.  Frank was born on September 5, 1934, to Frank Everett and Erma Lucille (Bowen) Goodman, Sr.  He married Judith Ann Ray on August 24, 1957, in Shorewood, IL.  Frank proudly served his country in the United States Marine Corps.  He served in Korea and Hawaii.  He worked in the scrap business and then, worked for Airtex for 20 years before retiring in 1997.  Frank loved animals, gardening, and setting bank poles along the river.  He enjoyed woodworking and was a huge fan of the St. Louis Cardinals.  Most of all, he loved his children and family.

Frank is survived by his wife, Judith Ann Goodman, of Flora, IL, children, Frank William Goodman, of Flora, IL, Dennis Ray Goodman and wife Candy of Flora, IL, Douglas Keith Goodman and wife Sandy of Flora, IL, Christopher Jay Goodman and wife Lisa of Collinsville, MS, grandchildren, Luke Goodman and wife Tonya of Flora, IL, Mitchell Zimmer and wife Alicia, of Indianapolis, IN, Sean Goodman of Flora, IL, Anthony Speagle and wife Jaz of St. Elmo, IL, Amber Holste and husband James of Flora, IL, Mandy Speagle of Flora, IL, Aaron Speagle of Flora, IL, Cody Goodman of Collinsville, MS, and Cory Goodman of Collinsville, MS, great-grandchildren, Jessica Zimmer, Alex Goodman, Kairi Speagle, Keelan Speagle, Keiara Speagle, Kadence Speagle, Brooke Holste, and Cally Holste.  He was preceded in death by his parents, infant daughter, sister, Delores Sapp, and 1 nephew.
