Mr. Frank W. Goodman, 58, of Flora, Illinois, died on Wednesday morning, June 29, 2016, at St. Anthony’s Memorial Hospital in Effingham, Illinois. Frank was born on April 3, 1958, to Frank Everett and Judith Ann (Ray) Goodman in Joliet, Illinois. He graduated from Flora High School in 1977. He proudly served his country as a member of the United States Navy. Frank worked at Airtex for many years, where he retired on May 22, 2016. He enjoyed hunting and fishing, and he was an avid reader of science fiction. Most of all, Frank loved his dog, Peanut.
Frank is survived by his mother, Judith Ann Goodman of Flora, IL, brothers, Dennis Ray Goodman and wife Candy of Flora, IL, Douglas Keith Goodman and wife Sandy of Flora, IL, Christopher Jay Goodman and wife Lisa of Collinsville, MS, many nieces and nephews, and his beloved dog, Peanut. He was preceded in death by his father and one infant sister.
A memorial service will be at 7:00 p.m., Saturday, July 2, 2016, at Kohn Funeral Home in Flora, IL. Friends may call from 5 – 7 p.m. on Saturday at Kohn Funeral Home.
