Ms. Christine Lynn Taylor, 50, of Xenia, Illinois, died at 12:24 p.m. on Thursday, April 2, 2015, at Good Samaritan Regional Health in Mt. Vernon, Illinois. Christine was born on December 24, 1964, in Effingham, Illinois, to Raymond and Floris (Woods) Taylor. Christine was an avid reader and enjoyed her many books and magazines. She also spent a lot of time sewing and writing. However, her most cherished past time was spent taking care of her nieces and nephews.
Christine is survived by her sister, Janet Fehrenbacher and husband Daniel of Florida, 2 brothers, Raymond Taylor, Jr. of Xenia, Illinois, and Delbert Taylor of Xenia, Illinois, sister-in-law, Rose Anderson of Louisville, Illinois, and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, Raymond and Floris Taylor, sister, Cheryl Taylor, brother, Robert Taylor, and sister-in-law, Peggy Taylor.
A memorial service will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Tuesday, April 7, 2015, at Kohn Funeral Home in Flora, Illinois. Family and friends may call from 12 until the time of service on Tuesday, April 7, 2015. Inurnment will follow at Orchard Hill Cemetery in Louisville, Illinois.
